In 1998, Earth Balance started out as a little company with one product—our non-GMO, expeller-pressed Original Buttery Spread. For vegans who assumed they'd never taste anything buttery again, craveable, meltable goodness was back on the menu. And so Earth Balance became the country's fastest-selling, most popular vegan buttery spread.
Since then, we’ve added more flavors and varieties to our line of spreads. We also came up with delicious snacks, baking products, and even mac & cheese, putting more plant-made variety in the grocery store—just for you.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, the fresh mountain air keeps us motivated to spread an environmentally conscious, rewarding way of life. We know food can be made and enjoyed with the Earth in mind.
